About the Role

Exponential Science is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in AI and Time Series Analysis with a solid scientific background and a strong interest in applying advanced methods to realworld data challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience with time series modelling, predictive analytics, and machine learning, particularly in crypto/financial or socio-technical domains.

We are particularly interested in candidates eager to apply AI techniques to industry- driven problems, turning data into insight and research into innovation.

This role is part of a broader initiative to leverage time series data — from both on-chain and off- chain sources — to model crypto/market dynamics, extract meaningful patterns, and support high-impact decision-making across emerging technologies.

We’re looking for someone who combines analytical rigour with creative problem-solving, and who thrives in a startup-like environment — independently and in dynamic, interdisciplinary teams.

Key Requirements and Skills

• PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Time Series Analysis and AI tools and methods.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research group.
• Experience in interdisciplinary or applied research projects
• Proven ability to write academic papers and/or research grant proposals
• Familiarity with startup environments or innovation-driven organizations
• Academic or practical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Social Network Analysis Machine Learning and Data Science Quantum Computing
