Job Description

Requirements:

• BBA or BS degree is required.

• +10 years of demonstrated experience in Planning functions, such as: Master Scheduling, Supply/Demand Planning, Production Scheduling, Inventory Management, Logistics.

• English +80% (Spoken and Written).

• APICS CPIM, CSCP or similar as a plus.

• Knowledgeable in ERP's functionality (Oracle preferred).

• Strong analytical skills: Proficient in data integration from multiple sources.

• Familiar with Lean/Six-Sigma concepts and problem solving techniques.

• Results Oriented: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Leadership and decision making skills.

Qualifications

The Planner must ensure customer demand is met and product is available to ship in an efficient and timely manner.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Create the daily production plan

2. Simulate demand changes

3. Monitor production plan compliance

4. Send finished goods hot list to internal team as needed

5. Prepare return to health plans as needed

6. Control inventory levels

7. Load the weekly master production schedule

8. Send economical and optimal orders to the cutting department

9. Focus on meeting metrics and work on continuous improvement

10. Notify customer service about unplanned situations affecting product availability

11. Analyze demand

13. Escalate unresolved situations

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ease with both telephone and in-person contacts. Strong organizational and time-management skills, including ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to negotiate between service departments, stress management, problem solver.
