Job Description

The Maintenance Coordinator trains and leads assigned team(s), has Direct Reports, performance management responsibilities or disciplinary action responsibilities. Manage workflow schedules to predict service. The Maintenance Coordinator is a Subject Matter Expert in area(s) assigned and has demonstrated hands-on skills and experience in area(s) assigned. Guarantee the operation at a mechanical, electrical and electronic level of the internal production machines.

  • Support the process of induction and versatility of EHS.
  • Give priority to Safety requests in machine stoppage reports.
  • Ensure that existing equipment is in safe working condition and in good condition.
  • Perform safety inspections according to the EHS Scorecard Perform the Lockout and Tagout procedure before performing any repair or maintenance on the machine.
  • Model safe behavior Attend / Support training and guarantee 100% attendance of area employees to EHS trainings.
  • Comply with the Work at Heights procedure and give the permits to carry them out.
  • Guarantee that the contractors that enter the company comply with the legal and corporate requirements, in order to carry out their work. Support EHS goals and initiatives through planning, review, and resources.
  • Apply all the elements of the Comprehensive Management System (policy, manual, instructions).
  • Participate in corrective and preventive actions and to improve your area.
  • Participate in activities related to the management system.
  • Consult and preserve SGI documents. Withhold non-compliant product and inform your superior.
  • Keep machinery, measuring equipment and facilities in good condition.
  • Collect the necessary information required by the process and present it legibly and reliably in the records intended for that purpose.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • 5+ years directly related experience with 2+ year’s team leader or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Subject matter expert in area(s) assigned.
  • Strong ability to lead, train and coach a diverse team of individuals performing a variety of tasks.
  • Fully knowledgeable on ELS Operating Principles.
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions and take appropriate action.
  • Good, coordination, planning, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and knowledgeable on ELS Operating Principles.
  • Excellent customer focus necessary.
  • Operational knowledge of applicable systems.
  • Knowledge and handling of machines and tools Management of management indicators and budgets.
  • Basic knowledge of technical English
  • Microsoft office management
  • Management of suppliers, purchases
  • Preparation of maintenance programs and schedules
  • Bilingual
