ABOUT YOUR ROLE

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Partner with the Digital Transformation PMO to track project and workstream financials, and other Avery Dennison stakeholders to use KPIs to drive decisions around system and process transformation programs. Working closely and collaboratively with workstream leadership and other stakeholders you will manage a framework and governance model to deliver the required program outcomes and track financial performance from project inception, investment appraisal/approval, through to program delivery and post-investment benefits.
  • Support and drive the Data analytics agenda along with Global Finance partners. Modeling and analyzing data from global data platforms, identifying data analytics solutions and helping in developing output reporting platforms.

A key requirement of this position is the ability to leverage analytical experience and build relationships within the Avery Dennison organization including finance workstream leads/key project stakeholders and develop a strong mechanism to establish financial models and tracking processes which will support the organization's priorities, drive and deliver the change required by Digital Transformation programs.

Strong financial planning, analysis, and organizational skills coupled with an attention to detail are a must. Rich experience managing/interpreting/enhancing data from multiple systems to support decision-making.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

The main duties of the role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Partner with the Digital PMO and project stakeholders to manage a robust framework and governance model to enable the team to formulate projects, priorities and associated costs/benefits against plan and forecast for Digital Transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with the PMO for system and digital transformation programs and establish financial processes and modeling which support tracking the project financials.
  • Responsible for partnering with the Digital PMO to manage a framework including financial modeling, investment appraisals, and establishing KPIs and performance reviews to support the progression of Digital Transformation programs in the optimal sequence.
  • Provide timely status updates and delivery of metrics to leadership, in partnership with the PMO and other transformation partners, driving the operational level financial and project reporting through the governance model.
  • Provide key financial updates and metrics to the Digital PMO leadership team, strategic program-level leaders and project steering committees.
  • Supporting the Data analytics and BI global team to drive the global project including but not limited to
    • Supporting large-volume data extraction and analysis to identify business patterns and challenges
    • Identifying the business team challenges through discussion and process understanding
    • Helping design the ideal solution along with the internal team as well as external consultants
    • Supporting the BI Reporting platform development
  • Supporting the preparation of periodic and ad-hoc reports to global finance counterparts
  • Support the global projects to drive P&L and Bal sheet improvements

Experience:

  • Strong evidence of establishing and driving FP&A activities within an international landscape. You will be an analytical thinker with proven experience managing frameworks/governance to drive daily concepts which deliver longer-term vision.
  • The ability to drive and demonstrate partnership, transparency, control and collaboration are key requirements of this role
  • Exceptional data management and analytical skills, including the ability to identify potential issues and propose corrective actions
  • Capable of working on multiple deliverables, in a dynamic environment where priorities can change rapidly.
  • Ability to articulate scenario modeling, investment appraisals, and cost-benefit analysis across a wide variety of complex projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree and CA with approx 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance/Project Management
