Job Description

• To be the single on-site point of contact for Product Compliance issues
• Work with the Global Product Compliance Team to implement best practices at the site
• Attend training by Global Product Compliance Team and RBO on an as-needed basis and provide training to site colleagues handling product development, production and sourcing/supply chain
• Inform the corresponding on-site teams (GPD /Procurement / Purchase / Operation/Supply Chain) when receive RBO RSL and/or AD RSL updates from the Product Compliance team
• Forward RBO testing guidelines from Product Compliance to corresponding teams to arrange testing as required
• Arrange random product audit sample according to instruction provided from Global Product Compliance Team
• Carryout product safety risk assessment
• Arrange raw material to local lab for RSL testing based on Global Product Compliance Team instruction
• Assist with root cause analysis and be the on-site point of contact for handling complaint cases from client
• Coordination of Oeko Tex application and maintenance.
• Arrange product safety declaration letters to customers as per the requirement of different RBO’s formats.
• Do daily product traceability audit in different product lines based on different RBO requirements, global sample retention policy
• Ensure sharp tool and metal control policy compliance and other product safety requirements
• Handle FSC, GRS, Carter’s, Decathlon SQA, Brand Protection and Higg (for traceability part) etc and all other external traceability audits.
• Any other tasks assigned for Business and Organization requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Chemical Engineering/Applied Chemistry/Chemistry from a reputed university.
• 5+ years experience in Chemical Management or Product Safety.
• Product Knowledge will be preferable.
• Strong organizational and execution skills.
• Effective written, analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills in both English and Bangla.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
