Job Description

Avery Dennison is seeking a Service Consultant to join the Performance Tapes North America Customer Support organization. This role will be aligned with the Industrial and Healthcare Materials business and will provide exceptional Customer Service to our customers. The successful candidate will manage accounts in terms of order processing, order follow up, pricing integrity, on-time deliveries, and complete order fulfillment.

This role will be 8AM-5PM. M-F.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of customer accounts in terms of order processing, order follow-up, pricing integrity, on-time delivery, expediting, and complete order fulfillment.

  • Implement account service strategies.

  • Principal liaison with marketing and sales for assigned customers.

  • Implementation of Marketing programs for assigned accounts.

  • Initiate and implement initiatives which improve responsiveness enriching the customer experience.

  • Champion customer needs, proactively follow-up on customer inquiries, and be the customer’s advocate by driving the voice of the customer (VOC) into the organization.

  • Coordinate with Logistics, Operations, and Transportation to ensure on-delivery

  • Back-up team members when workload makes this necessary.

  • Partner with Sales to assist in achieving sales goals

  • Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree a plus

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years customer service or related experience a plus

  • Strong written, verbal and phone skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent prioritization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

  • Strong data entry and organizational skills required

  • Candidate must have superior team and interpersonal skills.
