Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Supervision and management of QA/QC activities related to incoming quality checking (IQC) and RM quality management. You will be based in Rayong.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Incoming materials quality control/supplier quality engineer aspect.
• Disposition of nonconformance materials to support the continuity of quality material usage in production line.
• Engage in the development of inspection gate to enhance efficiency and effectiveness capture nonconforming materials.
• Feedback and track effectiveness of material suppliers for corrective actions and to force delivery of good/quality materials : Work closely with relevant departments to verify RM quality issue and provide timely feedback to supplier and follow up and verify corrective action and effectiveness of actions taken by supplier and also work closely with Purchasing team in finalizing claims to Suppliers on time.
• Handel line complaint to input materials quality problems
• Development inspection procedures to enhance IQC activity and handle audits: establish incoming quality control plan, work instruction of raw material testing and revise regularly based on analysis of quality trend of RM to ensure it is conducted timely and efficiently.
• Establish quality performance analysis of RM and provide necessary training to incoming lab technician.
• Lead and supervise the lab technician to carry out routine tests related to raw materials.
• Summit monthly report on incoming quality inspection status.
• Issue the report compensation status including received credit as per finance results and pending claims on a monthly basis and take timely actions on the proposal for compensated RMs.
• Coordinate on raw material testing equipment calibration and reliability.
• Assist on ISO related activities and conduct internal audits.
• To systematically work on the supply base to identify part or process related cost improvement potentials.
• Carry out risk analysis and participate actively to the team assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 5 years + related experience in In-Process Quality Control and Inventory management.
• Certified Auditor or Certified Quality Analyst is preferred.
• Thoroughly knowledgeable on database administration and systems testing and auditing processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
