Job Description

• May be a Cost Accountant and perform Cost Accountant duties.

• Audit, review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.

• Monitor and account for machinery held on consignment, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for timely billing and settlement of consignment agreements.
• Administer service contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Verify invoices against contract terms and process payments accurately.
• Monitor and account for machinery held on consignment, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.

• Prepare financial reports related to fixed assets, consigned machinery, and service contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.

• 1 - 3 years accounting or related experience.

• Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of accounting, to include general ledger experience.

• Strong math and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles are essential.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and function specific software.

• Strong typing and data entry skills.

• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.

• Knowledge of applicable state, federal and tax laws.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent audit skills.

• Bilingual
