Job Description

The procurement lead will manage contracts with the company's suppliers to ensure solid relationships and best value for money

  • Relationship Building - Forge solid relationships with suppliers and develop robust and highly functional relationships between the company and its suppliers.

  • Achieve “value for money” solutions for the company based on the business requirements

  • Negotiate contracts with existing vendors, ensuring contract terms achieve benefit to the company

  • Continuously scan and scout both the market and our existing supply base in order to facilitate supplier driven innovation

  • Accountability - Deliver on Procurement Kpis that support our OGSM year on year.

  • Assess and work to reduce inventory levels and actively work on increasing working capital

Qualifications

  • BA/BSc in a relevant discipline (Supply Chain, Business Administration, etc) desirable

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar function in the medical device industry or a similar operating environment

  • Vendor selection and negotiation skills is a must

  • Ability to travel frequently to suppliers sites is essential

  • Good systems knowledge - G Suite

  • Knowledge of supply chain systems including ERP

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

  • Strong communication skills, (verbal and written), fluent English is essential

  • Analytical and problem solving skills
