Job Description

  • Assist Factory HR Manager in formulating Employee Relations programs commensurate to
    business strategy.

  • Perform end-to-end recruitment experience ranging from sourcing to offer with the collaboration of the Talent Acquisition team for the manufacturing management employees. In addition, maintain and continuously map the talents to support the organization.

  • Ensuring the departments comply with all recruitment policies, required laws, and regulations.

  • Educating manufacturing functional head about HR process, Systems, and Tools.

  • Ensure the Global standard induction program for management & Shop floor employees.

  • Ensure compliance in the hiring process through regular inspections and reporting.

  • Support Factory HR Manager with relevant market data of Labor demand/supply to come up to prudent decisions.

  • Build overall Avery Dennison Employee Engagement culture in line Global Avery Dennison
    standard.

  • Well conversant in EPZ rules & regulations and will be the contact point for all BEPZA issues

  • Advises Factory HR Manager and union representatives in development and implementation of labor relations policies and practices, according to policy designed by the organization.

  • Assist Factory HR Manager in Dispute settlements according to labor law, Factory rules &
    Compliance guidelines.

  • Prepare information for management to use during collective bargaining and agreement
    negotiations.

  • On Boarding of Shop-floor/ Blue Collar employees.

  • Develop means and ways of cost /optimization/rationalization in all activities/systems carried out by businesses/support functions, while ensuring that services standards are not compromised.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business Administration from any reputed University.

  • 10 + years of experience, preferably in any manufacturing industry.

  • Good analytical ability.

  • Conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel & Google.

  • Good command of English.

  • Have strong leadership qualities

  • Possess Problem solving qualities and should be able to manage conflicting situations and disruption

  • Knowledge in legal matters/Labor Law will be an added advantage
